  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture for about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Coat each tofu cube in this mixture.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  5. Fry the coated tofu cubes for about 3-5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. While frying, whisk together gochujang, honey (or maple syrup), and soy sauce in a bowl.
  7. Drain excess oil from tofu on paper towels and serve it with the dipping sauce.
