  • 1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts (chopped)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add the egg yolk and mix until a dough forms. Press into a tart pan.
  3. Blind bake the crust lined with parchment paper and weights for 15 minutes until golden. Cool.
  4. In a saucepan over low heat, melt heavy cream and dark chocolate together, stirring until smooth.
  5. Fold in chopped hazelnuts, then pour into the cooled tart shell and spread evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set before serving.
