  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (100g)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (120g)
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder (40g)
  • 1 cup roasted hazelnuts, chopped (140g)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated and brown sugars until well combined.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in the eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together flour and cocoa powder. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped hazelnuts.
