  • 2 cups Gruyère cheese, grated
  • 2 cups Emmental cheese, grated
  • 1 cup dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc recommended)
  • 1 garlic clove, halved

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Crusty bread cubes and fresh veggies (broccoli, carrots)

Instructions

  1. Rub the inside of a fondue pot with the cut side of the garlic clove.
  2. Toss together the grated Gruyère and Emmental cheeses with cornstarch in a bowl.
  3. In the fondue pot over medium heat, simmer the white wine (do not boil).
  4. Gradually stir in the cheese mixture until melted and smooth.
  5. Add fresh lemon juice and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve immediately with dippers for a delightful experience.
