  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 sesame seed buns, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Splash of pickle juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and onion until cooked through; drain excess fat.
  3. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle juice until smooth.
  4. Layer half of the crumbled buns in the baking dish, followed by half of the beef mixture and half of the sauce. Top with pickles and cheese. Repeat the layers.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let rest for five minutes before serving.
