  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sauté until golden brown (6-7 minutes per side) and cooked through (165°F/75°C). Remove from skillet and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add marinara sauce and simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces; return to the skillet and mix in cooked pasta along with reserved pasta water.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese, and bake for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
