  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, gochujang, minced garlic, green onions, and soy sauce. Mix well until combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs about one inch in size and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature of at least 160°F).
  5. While baking, whisk together honey, gochujang, and sesame oil for the sauce.
  6. Drizzle the sauce over the meatballs before serving.
