  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion until translucent (about 5 minutes). Allow to cool.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed onions, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf in a greased pan or on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Brush the top generously with honey BBQ sauce.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). Brush more BBQ sauce during the last ten minutes if desired.
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
