Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, approximately 3 minutes.
  3. Transfer the cooked spinach to a mixing bowl. Combine with heavy cream, half of the Gruyère cheese, salt, and pepper until evenly mixed.
  4. Spread the creamy mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs, then drizzle with another tablespoon of melted butter.
