Instructions

  1. Prepare strawberries by washing, hulling, and slicing them into halves or quarters. Toss in a bowl with sugar and lemon juice; let sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out your pie crust in a pie dish, poking holes in the bottom.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour and additional sugar; combine this mixture with the marinated strawberries.
  4. Pour the strawberry mixture into the prepared crust and dot with butter.
  5. Bake for about 45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
