  • 1 large round sourdough or Italian bread loaf
  • 1 cup peeled and deveined shrimp (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the top off the bread loaf and scoop out the inside, leaving about an inch of bread on the bottom and sides.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink (about 3 minutes). Stir in crab meat until warmed through.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, herbs, lemon juice, and the cooked seafood mixture until well combined.
  5. Generously fill the hollowed-out bread loaf with the seafood mixture.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top and melty inside.
