  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Sauté the finely chopped onion in oil over medium heat until golden brown (about 5 minutes).
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, sautéed onions, eggs, ketchup (reserve some), salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well using your hands.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf in the greased baking dish.
  5. Spread the reserved ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). Let rest before slicing.
