  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Optional for heat.

For the Appetizer

  • 1 cup Basil Pesto Homemade pesto can elevate the flavor.
  • 8 ounces Burrata Cheese Do not substitute with mozzarella.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil Leaves For garnish.
  • 8 slices Toasted Crostini/Baguette Gluten-free options are available.

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Halve the cherry tomatoes and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Roast for about 15-20 minutes until caramelized.
  • Spread a generous layer of basil pesto on a serving platter.
  • Place the burrata in the center of the pesto. Spoon the warm roasted tomatoes over and around the cheese.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately with toasted crostini.

Notes

Serve warm for the best texture and flavor. Drizzle with balsamic glaze for added elegance.
