Instructions

How to Make Lobster Stew

  • In a soup pot over medium-high heat, melt ½ cup of butter.
  • Add ¼ cup of finely chopped onions and cook until tender and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in 2-3 cups of cooked lobster meat along with your seasoning mix. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  • Gradually pour in one can of evaporated milk, followed by 3 cups of whole milk and 1 cup of light cream, stirring continuously.
  • Allow the stew to warm until it’s nearly boiling, avoiding boiling to keep the dairy from curdling.
  • Remove the stew from heat and let it cool. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate overnight.
  • Gently reheat the lobster stew over low heat until hot but not boiling. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

For the best results, refrigerate overnight before reheating to develop rich flavors.
