How to Make Cookie Monster Cinnamon Rolls

  • In a small bowl, mix warm milk with the active dry yeast and let it sit for about 5 minutes, until foamy. Then, add granulated sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  • Gradually incorporate all-purpose flour and salt into the wet mixture. Once combined, add the blue gel food coloring. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours or until doubled in size.
  • In a separate bowl, cream together unsalted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Mix in crushed chocolate cookies and mini chocolate chips.
