  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar Consider a sugar substitute if needed

For the Butterscotch Sauce

  • 1 cup Butterscotch Chips Star ingredient
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter Use margarine for dairy-free
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream Can use half-and-half for lighter version

Preparation

  • Lightly grease your slow cooker with non-stick spray.
  • Cut each biscuit dough piece into quarters.
  • Combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a zip-top bag. Add biscuit pieces and shake.
  • Layer the sugared biscuit pieces in the greased slow cooker.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butterscotch chips and unsalted butter, then stir in heavy cream.
  • Pour the butterscotch sauce evenly over the layered biscuit pieces.
  • Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Allow the bread to sit for about 10 minutes before serving.
