How to Make Whipped Feta Dip with Honey

  • In a food processor, combine feta cheese, cream cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, and optional garlic. Process for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is smooth and airy, scraping down the sides as needed. Taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
  • Place chopped pistachios in a dry skillet over medium heat. Stir frequently for 3-4 minutes until they turn lightly golden and release their aromatic scent. Remove them from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Gently heat honey in the microwave or a small saucepan for about 10-15 seconds until it becomes runny and smooth.
  • Spread the whipped feta mixture onto a serving plate, creating shallow wells for the toppings. Drizzle the warm honey generously over the dip, then sprinkle with toasted pistachios and dried cranberries. Finish with a pinch of black pepper or your choice of optional spices.
  • This dip is best enjoyed immediately with warm crusty bread, pita wedges, or an assortment of crispy crackers.

Notes

Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or mint for added color and flavor. Store any leftover whipped feta dip covered in the fridge for up to two days; just remember to add fresh toppings before enjoying again.
