For the Roasted Radishes

  • 1 bunch Breakfast radishes Can substitute with milder daikon radishes.

For the Whipped Cheese

  • 8 ounces Goat cheese Cream cheese can be used for a different texture.
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder Use fresh minced garlic for bolder flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley flakes Chives or dill can be used as substitutes.
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes Omit or adjust based on spice tolerance.

How to Make Whipped Goat Cheese with Roasted Radishes

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Remove the radish greens and set aside. Slice the breakfast radishes in half for even roasting.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the halved radishes and reserved greens with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, along with salt and pepper to taste. Toss until well coated.
  • Spread the radish mixture on the prepared baking sheet. Roast in the oven for approximately 20 minutes, until golden brown and slightly crisp.
  • While the radishes are roasting, blend the goat cheese in a bowl with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and red pepper flakes until fluffy and creamy.
  • Once the radishes are done roasting, transfer the whipped goat cheese to a serving plate. Top with the roasted radishes and greens, and drizzle with more olive oil if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with fresh herbs or additional red pepper flakes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
