For the Salmon

  • 4 fillets Salmon Fillets Fresh, skin-on fillets preferred.

For the Broccoli

  • 4 cups Broccoli Florets Fresh retains crunch; frozen is an option.

For the Glaze

  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil Essential for roasting.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Sea salt recommended.
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly ground for best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Honey Provides natural sweetness.
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) Adjust for preference.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce Coconut aminos can be used.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Fresh juice recommended.
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Green Onions Optional garnish.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds Optional for texture.

Instructions
 

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with foil or parchment.
  • Place salmon skin-side down on the pan and scatter fresh broccoli florets around it. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice until smooth.
  • Brush half the glaze over the salmon and broccoli.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes. Brush remaining glaze over everything and roast for another 8-10 minutes.
  • Switch to broil for a quick 1-2 minutes to caramelize.
  • Let the dish rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

Garnish with fresh chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
