How to Make Cherry Martini with a Twist

  • Start by pitting your fresh or frozen cherries. In a saucepan, add the cherries and water, then bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes until the cherries soften. Strain the mixture, then dissolve sugar into the warm liquid. Allow to cool and store in the fridge.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in your choice of vodka or gin, add the triple sec, cherry syrup, and fresh lemon juice. Shake energetically until well chilled and combined.
  • Strain the mixture into a lovely coupe glass, garnishing with a cheerful cocktail cherry on a pick.

Notes

Consider rimming the glass with sugar for added sweetness. Use quality ingredients for the best flavor.
